Early Life and Education
Known as Nayvadius DeMun Cash, Future was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and had a childhood significantly shaped by music, especially because of his cousin, music producer Rico Wade, who helped groom his abilities. He studied at Columbia High School in Decatur.
Rico Wade urged him to develop his ability to write songs and thus inspired him to pursue rap music. This ultimately culminated in Future being associated with the Dungeon Family group and earning his nickname, “The Future.”
